Seeking a Database Administrator in Izmir, Türkiye to support IT solutions by providing expertise in systems, platforms, databases, networks, and security. Responsibilities include defining technical infrastructure, handling incident tickets, and performing daily database operations like installation, upgrades, patching, and data migration.

Ansvarsområden

Support IT solutions in test environments with specialized technical expertise.
Define the full technical infrastructural environment of an IT solution.
Implement business rules and requirements for customer databases in well-defined testing projects.
Handle incident tickets within given SLA resolution times.
Perform database operations including installation, upgrade, patching, data migration, refresh, and export/import procedures.
Proactively create procedures to prevent and reduce the severity of outages.
Develop and maintain clear and extensive documentation.

Krav

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or related field.
Maximum 4 years of experience in at least one of the following database technologies: Oracle, MSSQL, or NoSQL DBs.
Linux experience is a must.
Daily operational tasks in Oracle DB such as migration, refresh, export/import, patching, fresh installation.
Solid understanding in TCP/IP networking technologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Willingness to be constantly learning and have an automation mindset.
No military obligation at least in 2 years.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Oracle Certified Professional is a plus.
Good to have prior experience about automating daily database operational tasks via PL/SQL, Python or bash.
