Ericsson is seeking a Patent Attorney in Lund, Sweden, to protect and maximize the value of company innovations. The role involves evaluating inventions, preparing patent applications, and managing patent assets in collaboration with engineers and external partners.

Ansvarsområden

Identify, assess, and develop patentable inventions.
Prepare and manage patent applications through drafting, filing, examination, and grant.
Make value-based decisions about patent filing and prosecution strategies.
Contribute to opposition, invalidation, and patent assertion activities.
Provide support in licensing, negotiations, and patent-related legal matters.
Improve patent processes, tools, and working methods.
Lead or coordinate selected projects and support knowledge sharing.
Coach and mentor colleagues.

Krav

Degree in engineering, physics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience in patent work (qualified patent attorney, partial qualification, patent examiner, or patent engineer).
Interest in technical, business, and legal matters.
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
Clear communication skills.
Proficiency in English.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Qualification as a European Patent Attorney is an advantage.
Knowledge of cellular technology, mobile devices, IoT implementations, user interface, or experience in the telecommunications sector is an advantage.
Experience leading projects, coordinating work, or supporting team development is desirable.
Experience mentoring, coaching, or acting as a team lead is an advantage.
Motivation to learn, improve processes, and use new tools.
Experience with AI-supported tools for patent prosecution and patent drafting is an advantage.
