AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Centre Linux & HW Engineer in Hyderabad, India, to join their Data Center Operations team. This role involves maintaining and upkeeping data center infrastructure, including server rack installation, hardware break-fix, and network troubleshooting.

Ansvarsområden

  • Maintain and upkeep data center infrastructure.
  • Perform server rack installation.
  • Conduct hardware break-fix on various components.
  • Troubleshoot network issues.
  • Respond to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
  • Serve as a primary contact for internal customers and external partners.
  • Meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets.
  • Perform on-call duties and participate in Data Center operations.
  • Handle scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
  • Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.
  • Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in training less experienced team members (for more experienced technicians).

Krav

  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Ability to lift & rack equipment up to 20kg
  • Ability to work in cramped spaces or elevated locations adhering to health & safety guidelines
  • Willingness to cover 24x7 shift rotation
