Join AWS Infrastructure Services as a Data Centre Engineering Operations Engineer in India, responsible for the hands-on management and operation of critical Mechanical and Electrical systems within data centers. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, experience with incident management, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Ansvarsområden

Ownership of all Data Center changes/events/incidents/problems from beginning to end.
Oversee the completion of investigation, root cause analysis and follow-up resolution actions.
Ensure maintenance/repairs of a Data Center (Electrical/Mechanical/Fire Suppression Systems) are planned and executed.
Responsible for Asset and Inventory management.
Develop and maintain method statements, standard operating procedures, emergency response procedures, and preventive maintenance programs.
Ensure standardization and consistency with best-in-class operating practices.
Develop and deliver regular engineering reports and ensure adherence to contracted deliverables including SLAs and KPIs.
Provide hands-on facility support where required (e.g., installation, decommissioning, replacement of equipment, internal audits).
Oversee technical compliance auditing and the effective and timely close-out of corrective action plans.
Manage information flow during incidents while providing regular updates to management.
Review incident reports, document periodic trend summaries, and provide updates and recommended actions to management.

Krav

4+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
4+ years of data center or mission critical facilities (e.g., hospital, military facility, public safety facility) experience
Knowledge of electrical systems in critical Data Center operations (utility feeds, transformers, switchgear, UPS, DRUPS, PDUs, ATS, STS, batteries, generators, fuel systems, surge suppression, harmonic filtering, battery monitoring, SCADA)
Knowledge of mechanical systems in critical Data Center operations (CRAC/CRAHs/AHUs, chillers, cooling towers, storage tanks, chemical systems, heat exchangers, piping, pumps, valves, duct systems, fans, dampers)
