I korthet

Lead a team of Data Center Technicians (DCTs) at Microsoft, overseeing hardware deployments, diagnostics, and decommissions. Provide expert guidance, coach technicians, monitor KPIs, and ensure operational excellence in a fully on-site, full-time role within Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) division.

Ansvarsområden

Lead and mentor a team of data center technicians.
Oversee hardware deployments, diagnostics, and decommissions.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Provide coaching and training to technicians on procedures.
Ensure compliance with data center policies and safety requirements.
Conduct daily safety briefings and participate in safety committees.
Review process changes and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Embody company culture and values.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field, or 5+ years of equivalent relevant work experience.
3+ years of people leadership, team lead, project leadership, coaching, mentoring, supervisory, or management experience.
Ability to work scheduled shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Associate degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
4+ years’ experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
3+ years’ experience working in a production, mission-critical 24x7x365 data center environment.
Applicable certifications (ITIL, CompTIA, CDCP, Microsoft) are beneficial.
2+ years' experience leading a diverse technical or information technology workforce of up to 10 employees.
