I korthet

As a Data Center Technician L4 with AWS Infrastructure Services in Mumbai, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Linux-based server infrastructures, including monitoring, diagnostics, and optimization. You will also manage network hardware, troubleshoot technical issues on servers, storage, and networking devices on a 24/7 basis, and ensure high system reliability and availability.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based server infrastructures with a focus on reliability and scalability.
  • Perform comprehensive system monitoring, diagnostics, and performance optimization.
  • Configure and manage network hardware, including switches, routers, and complex cabling systems.
  • Develop and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless technological integration.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues on advanced hardware, ranging from servers, storage and networking devices on a 24/7 basis.
  • Maintain a high level of system reliability and availability.
  • Participate in projects to enhance operational efficiencies with opportunities to share experiences and knowledge with our global network of technical experts.
  • Share knowledge and help train less technical staff on the best practices related to all service owner issues.
  • Contribute towards building a great team by getting involved in the Amazon hiring process/candidate interviews.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • 2+ years of data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations experience.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
  • Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
  • Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
  • Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).
