AWS is hiring a Data Center Technician in Mumbai to maintain and troubleshoot servers, storage, and networking equipment. Ansvarsområden

  • Troubleshoot technical issues on advanced hardware (servers, storage, networking) on a 24/7 basis.
  • Maintain a high level of system reliability and availability.
  • Participate in projects to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Share knowledge and help train less technical staff on best practices.
  • Contribute to the Amazon hiring process and candidate interviews.
  • Install and configure Data Center Servers and Network systems.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and replace internal and external hardware parts of Servers and Network devices.
  • Work within a ticket-based environment and engage in systematic problem resolution.
  • Work on a rotational shift-based schedule to maintain high system reliability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, share ideas, and contribute to innovative projects to improve DC work environment and overall efficiencies.
  • Perform physically active duties onsite.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
  • Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
  • Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
  • Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).
