As a Data Center Operations Tech, you will be the primary point of contact for internal customers, troubleshooting technical issues on advanced hardware including servers, storage, and networking devices on a 24/7 basis. You will maintain high system reliability and availability, participate in projects to enhance operational efficiencies, and contribute to building a great team by assisting in the Amazon hiring process.
Ansvarsområden
- Troubleshoot technical issues on advanced hardware, ranging from servers, storage and networking devices on a 24/7 basis.
- Maintain a high level of system reliability and availability.
- Participate in projects to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Share experiences and knowledge with a global network of technical experts.
- Share knowledge and help train less technical staff on best practices.
- Contribute towards building a great team by getting involved in the Amazon hiring process/candidate interviews.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
- Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
- Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).
