AWS Infrastructure Services is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer in Mumbai, India. This full-time role involves ensuring the operational status of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within data centers, managing contractors, and optimizing plant performance. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field and relevant experience.

Ansvarsområden

  • Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center operates within contract parameters.
  • Manage contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors, ensuring work aligns with established practices and local legislation.
  • Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on data center facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.
  • Coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability, and efficiency with DCO managers and business leaders.
  • Support the installation of racks and the provision of power/cooling.
  • Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Perform rack installs, rack decommissioning, and facility management.
  • Provide operational readings and key performance indicators to ensure uptime is maintained.
  • Perform and oversee maintenance and operations on all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
  • Operating engineering license such as DC II, DC III, or equivalent.
  • Experience in operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities.
