This paid, full-time 20-week internship at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Sweden offers students in their final year of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering the chance to maintain critical data center systems. Interns will work on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, gaining hands-on experience with equipment like generators, UPSs, and cooling systems, with a potential pathway to full-time employment.

Ansvarsområden

Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
Assist with root cause analysis of equipment failures.
Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Ensure all safety procedures are followed while performing work.
Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment.
Use internal Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage building workflows and perform rack installations.
Coordinate body movements when using tools or equipment, and reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures.

Krav

In the last year of study, graduating in 2027.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, with strong time management skills.
Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including potential night shifts.
Must be able to report to work on site daily.
Ability to commit to shift work during the internship and upon transitioning to a full-time position.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Knowledge of mechanical systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems, controls).
Driving license and access to own vehicle.
