Volvo Group is seeking a Data Architect and Modeler to develop and govern scalable data architecture for Master Data Management. This role involves creating enterprise-level data models, ensuring data quality and consistency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the company's data-driven ambitions.

Ansvarsområden

  • Define and drive the Master Data architecture strategy and technical roadmap.
  • Design and govern scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures.
  • Own and evolve the Volvo Group Data Model (VGDM) for the Unified Data Platform.
  • Lead the design and integration of conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Collaborate with Master Data architects and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Review, govern, and integrate data model changes.
  • Drive continuous improvement of data products, technologies, and data flows.

Krav

  • 5+ years of experience in data modeling.
  • Strong grasp of normalized and de-normalized data models.
  • Proficient in data analysis.
  • Familiar with the Teradata Vantage Data Model (or similar).
  • Ability to work in an agile environment.
  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Several years of experience as a data architect practitioner.
  • Practical understanding of DBT Framework.
  • Experience with Azure's full suite of services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake.
