Responsibilities
- Define and drive the Master Data architecture strategy and technical roadmap.
- Design and govern scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures.
- Own and evolve the Volvo Group Data Model (VGDM) for the Unified Data Platform.
- Lead the design and integration of conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Collaborate with Master Data architects and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Review, govern, and integrate data model changes.
- Drive continuous improvement of data products, technologies, and data flows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data modeling.
- Strong grasp of normalized and de-normalized data models.
- Proficient in data analysis.
- Familiar with the Teradata Vantage Data Model (or similar).
- Ability to work in an agile environment.
- University degree or equivalent.
- Several years of experience as a data architect practitioner.
- Practical understanding of DBT Framework.
- Experience with Azure's full suite of services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake.
