Emerson is looking for a Data Analyst Co-Op in Marshalltown, IA to assist with data architecture, automated data collection, and exploratory data analytics. The role involves collaborating with data science teams, supporting AI models, and creating reports to drive efficiency. This is a full-time, on-site position for students enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program.

Ansvarsområden

Assist in designing data architecture and organizing data from manufacturing, global service partners, and ordering systems.
Develop and implement automated routines for data collection, pre-processing, and integrity checks.
Collaborate with research and data science teams for exploratory data analytics, identifying trends.
Contribute to planning and road mapping new features and functionality.
Support multi-disciplinary agile teams in developing and improving AI models.
Create reports and metrics to drive more efficient initiatives.
Document and present progress/results to stakeholders and other teams.
Assist with other project activities as assigned.

Krav

Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related engineering or science field.
Experience with SQL and Python.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Junior or Senior class standing.
Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
C#, C++, Java or other object-oriented programming skills desired.
Experience in data collection, pre-processing, and relational database models.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Familiarity with data visualization, management, and storage tools are a plus.
