Volvo Trucks is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative/Service Advisor for their Wellingborough team. This role involves liaising between customers, technicians, and parts teams to ensure efficient vehicle servicing and repairs, focusing on excellent customer communication and satisfaction in a fast-paced commercial vehicle environment.

Ansvarsområden

Deal with customers by phone, email, and face-to-face.
Book commercial vehicles into the workshop for servicing, repairs, and inspections.
Prepare job cards and communicate customer requirements to technicians.
Provide customers with regular updates on vehicle progress.
Prepare estimates and obtain customer authorization for additional work.
Liaise with technicians and parts colleagues to ensure efficient job progression.
Inform customers about costs, timescales, and completion dates.
Invoice completed work and ensure documentation accuracy.
Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver excellent service.

Krav

Experience in a Service Advisor, Customer Service, Aftersales, or Workshop environment, preferably in commercial vehicles, HGVs, trucks, or automotive.
Customer-focused and professional.
Organized and able to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
Confident communicating with customers and workshop teams.
Commercially aware with good attention to detail.
Comfortable discussing vehicle repairs, costs, and timescales.
Calm and professional under pressure.
Strong team player with a positive attitude.
IT literate and confident using workshop/service management systems.
Commercial vehicle or HGV experience is highly advantageous.
Consideration for strong automotive Service Advisors with the right attitude and transferable skills.
