AWS is looking for a Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of AWS Data Centers in India, specifically in Hyderabad, Telangana. The role involves overseeing pre-commissioning and commissioning of critical infrastructure, including power and HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project requirements.

Ansvarsområden

Oversight and coordination of multi-discipline division of work related to pre-commissioning and commissioning of Amazon critical infrastructure construction and special projects.
Support and supervision of vendors, contractors, and teams involved in commissioning of systems including medium/low voltage power, Generators, UPS, HVAC, Chilled Water, BMS, and EPMS.
Provide multi-discipline input into the scheduling, designing, and planning of projects.
Review multi-discipline integrated systems testing and commissioning documents.
Ensure all commissioning procedures follow appropriate safety practices, policies, and procedures.
Continuously audit commissioning activities for compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements.
Proactively communicate with DCCD Cx Regional Manager and team regarding test document creation.
Weekly reporting of commissioning progress and metrics for assigned projects.
Work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Krav

5+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities (data centers, power generation, oil and gas).
5+ years of commissioning experience.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities.
Experience with building codes and regulations for the region.
Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents.
Certification in commissioning such as NETA or ASHRAE.
