The Cloud Integration Engineer is responsible for high-quality deployment, upgrade, migration, and expansion activities for Ericsson cloud infrastructure solutions. This role involves analyzing requirements, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with company processes and security standards. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of distributed cloud architectures, containerized workloads, and Linux systems, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Ansvarsområden

Execute deployment, upgrade, migration and expansion activities for Ericsson Cloud Infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during deployment and integration phases.
Coordinate with project stakeholders and cross-functional teams for VNF/CNF, OSS/BSS and orchestration integration.
Analyze design documentation and customer requirements to provide technical input for estimates and planning.
Execute test and acceptance activities and document relevant artifacts.
Act as a technical interface toward customers during delivery and acceptance stages.
Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
Engage with and lead technical discussions with the Product Development Unit.
Identify and drive improvements to methods, tools, automation and ways of working.
Capture lessons learned and share knowledge with peers and junior engineers.
Ensure compliance with Ericsson processes, tools, directives, and security requirements.
Perform short business trips for on-site integrations, workshops or troubleshooting.

Krav

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with telco cloud platforms throughout all deployment lifecycle (install, upgrade, migration, expansion, validation, acceptance testing and transition to operations) or equivalent experience in large-scale cloud infrastructure environments.
Strong understanding of distributed cloud architectures, including virtualization, container orchestration, software-defined networking and storage and infrastructure automation.
Experience with containerized workloads (CNFs) and virtualized workloads (VNFs); understanding of telecom network architectures.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multi country teams.
Ability to communicate technical topics in clear, concise language.
Proactive mindset; willing and able to take on complex projects and tasks independently.
Continuously improve tools, automation and ways of working.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience working with cloud infrastructure platforms such as Ericsson NFVI/CNIS or similar virtualization and cloud-native environments based on OpenStack, Kubernetes, or equivalent technologies.
Preferred technologies and vendors: Ericsson NFVI/CNIS Platforms or equivalent Kubernetes and Openstack platforms.
Software defined Infrastructure (SDI); Software defined storage (SDS)/ Ceph or equivalent solutions.
Strong understanding of IP Networking; control vs data plane architecture; data center fabric and switching concepts; Kubernetes/container networking and CNI concepts.
Vendors: Extreme SLX/EFA; Juniper/Cisco DC Equipment.
Strong experience with Linux systems (Ubuntu/RHEL/SUSE/CentOS), including administration, troubleshooting and networking.
Proficiency in scripting (Python/Bash) for automation, configuration and troubleshooting.
