Ansvarsområden
- Take ownership of the E-Coat or Powder coat process area.
- Work with little supervision and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Perform routine quality checks and titrations.
- Handle PM related items within control.
- Manage hazardous waste and comply with storm water policies.
- Follow all provided SOPs within the facility.
- Safely store all paint and paint solvent materials in designated grounded and bonded flammable cabinets.
- Be cross-trained in other Paint Operations areas as needed.
- Wear company-provided PPE, including pulmonary respirator protection.
- Participate in training to advance knowledge of coating operations.
Krav
- High School or GED Equivalent.
- Trade School.
- Understanding of safety and environmental regulations and concerns with industrial pretreatment chemicals and paints, including grounding and bonding processes during liquid or powder painting.
- Familiarity with respirators and fresh air paint hoods.
- Ability to read Pretreatment & Paint Safety Data Sheets and Technical Data Sheets.
- Experience with storm water permits or wastewater functions.
- Experience with Paint Pots, Paint hoses, paint guns, and general painting equipment.
- Ability to track paint and solvent usage and document it.
- Knowledge of paint booths and paint booth filters, including performing PMs and documenting filter change outs.
- Powder Paint Experience.
- Electro-coat Experience.
- Liquid Paint Experience.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- General paint knowledge is preferred but optional.
