Role: Category Specialist, based in Bangalore, India. Responsibilities include developing and implementing SCM strategy, negotiating supplier agreements, and managing supplier performance for assigned categories. Qualifications: 10-15 years of experience in SCM/sourcing, a full-time diploma/engineering in Mechanical, and strong strategic sourcing and negotiation skills are required.

Ansvarsområden

Support regional and global sourcing initiatives.
Develop, plan, and implement SCM strategy to optimize costs, quality, delivery, and reliability.
Negotiate agreements with main suppliers and renew price lists, terms, and conditions.
Adapt corporate contractual framework to local business needs.
Oversee and manage contracts with suppliers.
Identify, investigate, and select appropriate suppliers based on quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.
Establish local standard agreements with major suppliers.
Manage supplier on-boarding, qualification, classification, and performance evaluation.
Apply and implement SCM standards, tools, and processes for business continuity (Supplier Risk Management).
Contribute to budget and target setting and ensure performance targets are achieved (Cost Reduction, Cash Improvement, Quality PPM, Supplier OTD).

Krav

10 to 15 years of experience in supply chain management/ sourcing.
Full-time Diploma/Engineering in Mechanical field.
Experience in SAP.
Good at strategic sourcing skills.
Sound knowledge in commodity working in mechanical products.
Sound knowledge in New Product Development activity.
Good at Negotiation.
Good at new vendor development.
Good at SCM Policy Implementation.
Collaboration with Global Commodity SCM Team.
Focusing on Cost Reduction of Product.
