Amazon is seeking a Case Manager for its Disability Leave Services (DLS) team. This contractual role involves providing comprehensive case management for employee leave of absence and disability events, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Ansvarsområden

Initiate and respond to inquiries about leave and disability events, benefits, and options.
Serve as a point of contact for employees, providing holistic case management services.
Review medical documentation to adjudicate leaves in compliance with leave plans, federal, and state laws.
Leverage duration guidelines and best practice tools to support oversight of leave events.
Critically assess and adjust case management plans to an employee’s changing needs.
Address and respond to sensitive situations and troubleshoot issues.
Facilitate a smooth return to work and ramp-back plan for employees.
Educate managers and business partners on employee concerns and needs.
Communicate regular updates to employees and stakeholders verbally and in writing.
Ensure compliance with standard work, federal/state regulations, and company policy.
Maintain system records for accurate and timely information/documentation.
Consult, coordinate, and partner with third-party administrators, HR, Safety, Legal, Payroll, and Benefits teams.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in Business
2+ Years of experience in customer service or Human Resource management or Case management or Leave & Disability management role
Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Önskade kvalifikationer

Master's degree
Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards
Experience with process improvement and stakeholder management
Experience and knowledge in Six Sigma belts and process improvement initiatives
