Amazon's Global Procurement Central Services (GPCS) Sourcing team seeks a Buyer in Hyderabad to lead proactive procurement initiatives. This role focuses on analyzing unmanaged spend, expanding catalog coverage, and identifying automation opportunities using AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and reduce non-compliant purchasing across global regions.

Ansvarsområden

Lead proactive analysis of unmanaged and free text spend data to identify catalog expansion opportunities and reduce non-compliant purchasing.
Propose and implement automation opportunities within the sourcing workflow using AI-powered tools.
Align with Category Management teams on sourcing strategies and leverage preferred supplier frameworks.
Execute end-to-end competitive sourcing events, managing negotiations and total cost of ownership.
Present spend insights, automation proposals, and process improvement recommendations to leadership.
Ensure adherence to Amazon's Global Spending and Transaction Policy (GSTP) and GPO procurement policies.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with business requesters, Category Management, and suppliers.
Drive delivery of key performance metrics including catalog coverage, spend under management, automation adoption, savings, and compliance.

Krav

Fluent in English (speak, write, read).
Experience in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business, IT, or any other procurement-related career.
Comfort with technology adoption and willingness to work with AI-powered tools and automation platforms.

Hands-on experience developing procurement or business process automations using AI-powered coding assistants, scripting, or workflow automation platforms.
