Ansvarsområden

Manage purchasing activities for assigned suppliers, materials, or categories
Secure timely delivery, quality, and cost performance in line with business needs
Build and maintain long-term supplier partnerships based on trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Support supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management activities
Work closely with production, engineering, logistics, quality, and sustainability teams
Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators and improvement plans
Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and increase supply chain resilience
Support sourcing projects connected to new products, capacity expansion, and operational improvements
Ensure compliance with Alfa Laval policies, sustainability requirements, and relevant regulations
Contribute to responsible sourcing practices, including supplier sustainability assessments and risk management
Help drive digitalization and process improvements within procurement operations
Participate in cross-functional and global sourcing initiatives when relevant
Prioritize safety, regardless of role.
Conduct themselves with professionalism, courtesy, and cooperation toward colleagues, customers, vendors, and visitors
Full compliance with all Alfa Laval policies and procedures is required
Local, domestic and international travel up to 10%

Krav

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, operations management, or a related field, preferred with relevant experience, and/or 3 or more years’ experience in purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or procurement operations
Experience working with suppliers in an industrial or manufacturing environment is an advantage
Knowledge of procurement processes, negotiations, and supplier management
Understanding of sustainability, compliance, and responsible sourcing principles
Experience working with enterprise resource planning systems and procurement tools
Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A structured and detail-oriented way of working
Confidence in managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Good negotiation and stakeholder management skills
A continuous improvement mindset
Curiosity and interest in developing smarter and more sustainable ways of working
A collaborative approach that supports team success and shared goals

The base salary for this role is typically $82,000.00-$97,000.00
