As a Business Improvement Analyst at Alfa Laval Canada, you will analyze, map, and improve business processes to drive efficiency and support digital transformation. This role involves hands-on work with stakeholders, data analysis, and designing digital solutions on SharePoint and Microsoft 365. Ansvarsområden

Interview stakeholders and observe work to identify pain points and prioritize improvements.
Gather baseline process data to measure problems before implementing solutions.
Produce current-state and future-state process maps, including value stream mapping.
Support root-cause analysis, pilots, and user acceptance testing of new processes.
Design and build digital workflows, forms, sites, and automations on SharePoint and Microsoft 365, including Power Automate.
Identify automation opportunities and collaborate with IT on RPA or AI projects.
Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
Build reports and dashboards to track KPIs, adoption, and improvement effectiveness.
Support user training and change management for new processes.
Maintain action and decision logs, track risks and dependencies, and flag capacity/timeline concerns.
Utilize generative AI tools for efficiency while safeguarding confidential data.

Krav

A degree or diploma in business, IT, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with SharePoint and the Microsoft 365 stack.
Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Miro, Lucidchart).
Experience gathering information through interviews, workshops, and document review.
2-3 years of experience in an analyst, operations, or process improvement role.
Working knowledge of Lean principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining findings to non-technical audiences.
Comfort working with people across functions without formal authority.
Attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Some exposure to Power BI or similar tools.
Power Automate or Power Apps experience, or a Microsoft certification such as Power Platform Fundamentals.
Exposure to RPA tools such as UiPath.
Lean Six Sigma Certification (Yellow Belt and above).
Experience with D365 or another CRM.
Exposure to audit, quality, or compliance requirements such as ISO 9001.
Experience writing training material or leading training sessions.

Förmåner

Salary range of $75,000– $90,000 CAD annually, based on experience.
