Emerson is seeking an Assembler in Nilai, Malaysia to perform mechanical assembly and testing according to specifications. The role requires 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly, with basic knowledge of mechanical principles and tools. Responsibilities include maintaining quality standards, ensuring a safe workplace, and collaborating with other teams.

Ansvarsområden

Assemble actuators and spare kits according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform assembly and testing across different product models to meet production output.
Manage component picking, material staging, labeling, and packing.
Ensure work meets Emerson quality standards and identify defects.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace.
Collaborate with Production, Planning, Store, Quality, and Shipping teams.
Report production bottlenecks, safety concerns, or quality issues to the supervisor.
Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

Krav

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in mechanical assembly, equipment repair, industrial maintenance, or a related manufacturing environment.
Basic knowledge of mechanical principles and experience using hand and power tools.
Ability to understand and follow standardized assembly instructions, work instructions, and technical manuals.
Basic understanding of quality requirements and ability to identify defects.
Ability to perform multiple production activities (assembly, testing, picking, labeling, packing).
Ability to read, write, and communicate in Bahasa Melayu and English.
Willingness to work shifts or overtime when required.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Previous experience in mechanical or industrial product assembly.
Experience working in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with 5S, Lean manufacturing, safety, and quality practices.
Experience performing product testing, material picking, labeling, or packing.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a production team.
