Assembler-3 bei ABB ist für die Erreichung der Produktionsziele verantwortlich, indem er industrielle Elektromotoren und Komponenten montiert, Qualitätsprüfungen durchführt und Montagewerkzeuge bedient. Mindestens 6 Monate Erfahrung im industriellen Fertigungsbereich und ein High-School-Abschluss oder gleichwertig sind erforderlich.

Ansvarsområden

Assemble industrial electric motors and components (stators, rotors, bearings, housings, wiring) while completing electrical connections, routing leads, and interpreting schematics to ensure proper insulation, grounding, and functionality.
Perform quality checks and functional testing (hi-pot, continuity, balance), identify defects, and complete rework or troubleshooting in collaboration with quality and engineering teams.
Operate assembly tools (torque tools, presses, hand tools) safely and accurately, maintain equipment calibration, and support efficient production flow, line balancing, and coordination across departments.
Track production data and work orders, follow SOPs and safety standards, maintain a clean 5S-compliant workspace, and contribute to process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

Krav

High School Diploma or GED required
At least 6 months of industrial manufacturing experience or equivalent military service
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
Able to work independently and effectively within a team environment
Willing and able to work any shift as needed to support production demands
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Perform repetitive movements (standing, bending, reaching)
Wear required PPE
Operate machinery for extended periods
Work in a manufacturing environment with noise, temperature changes, and moving equipment

Önskade kvalifikationer

Technical or vocational training may be considered in place of experience
Motor assembly experience preferred
