Staff Engineer, Applications Engineering with a focus on CFD, is sought to provide advanced technical expertise to customers and partners, driving innovation in fluid dynamics and Multiphysics simulation. The role involves engaging with strategic accounts, conducting technical demonstrations, and collaborating with product development teams to solve complex engineering challenges using Ansys simulation technologies.

Ansvarsområden

Provide advanced CFD technical expertise to customers and channel partners.
Engage with strategic customer accounts to understand engineering challenges and deliver simulation-based solutions.
Conduct technical demonstrations, workshops, and customer training sessions on Ansys CFD products.
Scope and deliver professional services projects.
Capture customer requirements and communicate them to product development teams.
Validate and test new software features and releases.
Develop and share technical best practices and knowledge resources.
Mentor team members.

Krav

MS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience; or PhD in a related discipline with 1+ years of relevant experience.
Strong background in Aerodynamics, Acoustics, Turbulent flows, and Conjugate heat transfer.
Experience using CFD simulation tools, preferably Ansys Fluent, Meshing, Discovery, and Workbench.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and customer-facing communication skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience with fluid-structure interaction (FSI).
Knowledge of reduced-order models and digital twin technologies.
Experience in process integration and design optimization.
Programming experience with Python, C, or C++.
Prior experience supporting engineering customers in a consulting, application engineering, or technical support environment.
