Emerson is seeking an Application Engineer in Chennai, India, to provide crucial costing and pricing support for special products in the Asia Pacific region. This hybrid role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and involves collaborating with sales and factory teams to optimize project pricing and win rates while ensuring project margins.

Ansvarsområden

Provide quotation support for Key MIB projects for AP, understanding project win price and acceptable deviations.
Review project specifications and prepare deviations lists.
Clarify technical specification doubts through conference calls with Sales office/LBP.
Perform sizing and selection of regulators using FisherFirst2 software.
Contact WA factory for critical application solutions/special prices.
Prepare Technical and Commercial Quote, technical deviations list, and generate reports and drawings.
Participate in internal kickoff meetings, Technical Bid Evaluation meetings, and Customer meetings.
Provide support on project revisions from Customer.
Support Sales office after PO issuance until order entry and assist with Change Orders.
Develop into a core part of the Regulators training team at FCEC and handle internal trainings.
Maintain records of all work done.

Krav

Bachelors degree in Engineering
Knowledge of pressure relief valves and regulators
Strong communication skills in English – both written and verbal
Proficiency in MS Office

Önskade kvalifikationer

Knowledge of SAP and ORACLE
Prefer 2 years’ industry work experience with experience in project costing or with providing pricing support for projects.
Learning agility for fast learning of work processes to provide solutions that are technically proficient and on time.
