Synopsys seeks an experienced AI Architect to design and evolve enterprise-scale AI and GenAI platforms. This role requires deep expertise in production AI systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional alignment on architectural standards and governance. You will mentor architects and engineers, influencing technology strategy and ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of AI workloads.

Ansvarsområden

  • Define and evolve enterprise-scale blueprints for GenAI, agentic AI, and AI infrastructure platforms.
  • Architect reference implementations for scalable, secure, reliable AI systems.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on standards, architectural decision records, and governance models.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into executable architectures.
  • Establish and enforce governance frameworks for security, compliance, and platform lifecycle management.
  • Engage with hyperscalers, AI vendors, and strategic partners.
  • Mentor senior architects and engineers, conducting architecture reviews.

Krav

  • Deep expertise in GenAI, LLMs, agentic AI patterns, and AI/ML platform design.
  • Track record of architecting systems that handle real production workloads.
  • Strong background in infrastructure-native architecture, distributed systems, and cloud platforms.
  • Proven ability to design and influence enterprise-scale architectures.
  • Solid understanding of security, compliance, and governance requirements for AI and infrastructure platforms.
  • Exceptional communication skills with both executives and engineering teams.
  • Typically 15+ years in software engineering, architecture, or platform development, including 8+ years delivering large-scale infrastructure-native systems.

  • Thought leadership in the form of architecture reviews, technical publications, patents, or conference talks is a strong plus.
  • Experience working with hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience engaging with AI vendors or strategic technology partners.
  • Visionary technical leader with deep architectural judgment.
  • Ability to build trust and turn conflicting priorities into aligned roadmaps.
  • Passion for mentorship and actively coaching senior engineers and architects.
  • Adaptable and resilient, comfortable working through ambiguity.
  • Commitment to building inclusive teams.
  • Ability to represent Synopsys with confidence in front of customers, partners, and vendors.
