Sandvik is seeking an Aftermarket Product Specialist to drive aftermarket sales and provide technical support for their Mobile Crushing & Screening equipment across Africa. The role requires extensive travel and a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.
Ansvarsområden
- Provide customer training and technical services support for Mobile Crushing & Screening products in Africa.
- Assist with customer installation and commissioning activities of Sandvik Mobile Crushing & Screening equipment.
- Guide customers' Maintenance Teams with fault diagnosis and repair using schematics.
- Work with customers on recommended spares lists and pricing, and liaise with logistics teams.
- Promote equipment and aftermarket sales, and conduct equipment condition audits.
- Provide feedback on equipment performance to enable maintenance planning improvements.
- Maintain accurate installed base information in the database.
- Adhere to Sandvik policies, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Stay updated on new models and equipment upgrades, and ensure compliance with local mining legislation.
Krav
- Qualified Electrical/Mechanical Engineer or Trade-qualified Electrical/Mechanical Artisan (or related trade), with relevant technical experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working with Mobile Crushing and Screening equipment.
- Sound knowledge of crushing and screening operations in surface and underground mining environments.
- Strong understanding of crushing and screening plants and process flows.
- Willing to provide after-hours technical support when required.
- Strong commitment to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS).
- Fluent in English.
- Valid passport, willing and able to travel extensively throughout Africa.
- Mine fitness.
- Proficiency in the use of spreadsheets and other MS office applications.
