Qualcomm is seeking an Acoustic Audio Tuning Engineer to join their Customer Engineering team in Taipei. This role involves supporting OEMs with audio system architecture and DSP tuning across Windows, Linux, and Google platforms from development to commercial launch. The ideal candidate will have expertise in audio software technologies and strong debugging skills.

Ansvarsområden

Customize Windows, Linux, and Google platform audio software drivers for OEM.
Co-work with cross-functional teams in Qualcomm to speed up solutions to customer problems.
Understand and explain technical information concisely, with strong communication skills between customers and developers.
Provide Audio performance measurement, analysis, and optimization.
Create application notes, technical memos, and provide training to customers.
Support Audio/Voice system’s algorithm tuning and debugging on Windows, Linux, and Google platforms.
Provide audio tuning support to help customers pass Google AVL and Microsoft Real Time Communications (RTC) certification.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Audio system architecture expertise working in Audio Software DSP technologies, Windows Audio S/W Architecture, Linux Audio Framework, and Google Audio technologies.
Experience supporting OEMs/Tier-1/Tier-2s with Audio Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and audio system architecture feature-specific customizations and tuning across Windows, Linux, and Google platforms from proof of concept to final product commercial launches.
