HID is seeking a Temporary Account Officer in Johor, Malaysia, to manage Accounts Payable tasks including invoice checking, payment processing, and supplier registration. This role also involves financial accounting duties such as journal entries and reconciliations, requiring proficiency in Oracle or ERP systems and MS Office, with a minimum of 3 years of AP experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Handle Accounts Payable activities
Create and update supplier’s registration
Check supplier invoices and handle booking of invoices
Prepare and process supplier payments
Prepare journal entry for month end closing and correction if needed
Review and clear unvouched AP accruals / GRIR timely
Prepare AP Statement of Account Reconciliation monthly to ensure timely accrual of liability
Manage the filing system for Accounts Payable documentation
Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

Diploma or Certificate in accounting
Minimum 3 years of AP working experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in Oracle or ERP system
Proficiency in MS Office applications, sound in Excel
Ability to communicate effectively in English language verbally and in writing
Meticulous and problem solving skill
Ability to work independently and achieve target within given timeline
Must be legally eligible to work in the country
Must possess, or be able to acquire, a valid passport

Desired Qualifications

Employee works primarily in an office environment, within a well-ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels
Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems
Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required
