Responsibilities

Drive the technical design and implementation of global e-commerce features.
Build highly scalable solutions for international customers.
Work on challenging problems in distributed systems, personalization, and real-time decisioning.
Design, develop, test, and deploy highly scalable and reliable software systems for cross-border shopping experiences.
Build technical solutions for personalized recommendations, marketing, and localized experiences supporting multiple languages, currencies, and payment methods.
Drive architecture and design decisions for scalable, high-performance distributed systems.
Write clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough code reviews.
Work across the full stack - frontend and backend systems - to deliver end-to-end features.
Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and UX designers.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers.
Optimize system performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve operational excellence.
Participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Desired Qualifications

5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
