Responsibilities

  • Monitor social communities to identify emerging trends, fan behaviors, creator formats, and engagement opportunities.
  • Develop quick-turn social content ideas based on trends, community conversations, and platform-native formats.
  • Write social-first copy, replies, comments, and captions aligned with brand voice.
  • Engage with customer, partner, influencer, creator, and media accounts for amplification and response.
  • Surface trends and audience insights with brand approach recommendations.
  • Partner with social strategy, content, creative, and product teams to translate insights into content.
  • Maintain community management fundamentals, including social listening, reporting, and issue escalation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
  • OR Associate's degree and 4+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
  • OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.
  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years of work experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of social media, community management, content creation, or platform-native social experience.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms, internet culture, creator trends, community behavior, and native content.
  • Experience engaging communities on Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
  • Strong copywriting, social ideation, and creative judgment.
  • Experience creating short-form social content, reactive posts, community prompts, memes, or creator-style concepts.
  • Experience with social listening, trend tracking, community reporting, or turning audience insights into actionable content recommendations.
  • Interest in technology, mobile, PC, gaming, AI, sports, entertainment, creator culture, or other relevant passion areas.
  • Experience with a social media management or listening system like Sprout Social.
  • Experience collaborating with creative, content, strategy, product, and community teams.
  • Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours as needed.
  • Responsive, curious, culturally aware, and able to use both instinct and data for decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
