The PAM Engineer is responsible for the administration, support, monitoring, security, and governance of Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms, ensuring secure management of privileged identities and access across various systems. The role involves daily operations, incident resolution, audits, and continuous improvement of PAM services, including platform administration, account management, and secrets management.

Responsibilities

Administer, support, monitor, secure, and govern Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms.
Manage privileged identities, credentials, secrets, sessions, and elevated access across OS, databases, cloud, and enterprise applications.
Onboard and manage privileged accounts, eliminate hardcoded credentials, and provision/modify/remove accounts.
Create and manage safes, assign permissions, and maintain vault configurations and security controls.
Initiate, monitor, and record privileged sessions, ensuring compliance with security requirements.
Support least-privilege enforcement on user endpoints and manage EPM policies.
Resolve ServiceNow incidents and service requests, troubleshoot account/permission/platform issues, and perform health checks.
Perform access reviews, support audit reviews, and generate operational and compliance reports.
Integrate applications with PAM credential providers and configure application authentication.
Implement secure secret handling processes and configure secret management vaults.
Assist in designing future PAM solutions, support threat mitigation, and recommend PAM enhancements.

Requirements

Experience with privileged account administration and basic CyberArk support.
Experience in application onboarding, vault administration, and policy management.
Experience in enterprise PAM architecture and operations.
Experience in PAM transformation, solution design, and security governance.

2 to 4 years of experience in PAM Operations (for L1 role).

7+ years of experience in enterprise PAM architecture and operations (for L3 role).
