Responsibilities

Analyze Customer technical specifications for special tools and diagnostic equipment requirements.
Evaluate supplier technical proposals and technical packages.
Approve supplier drawings and technical descriptions.
Participate in design reviews with suppliers and customers.
Follow up on equipment delivery.
Attend equipment installation and commissioning at customer sites.
Approve test procedures to validate equipment design.
Attend qualification tests of equipment at suppliers.
Design Maintenance Diagnostic Equipment.
Undertake other relevant duties related to the function.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
Ability to design and create drawings of maintenance tools using Catia V5.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge in testing electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Proficiency in French and English is required.

Desired Qualifications

Completion of a mechanical technique at college would be an asset.
Knowledge in the railway field would be an asset.
Knowledge of a third language is considered an asset.
Autonomous and demonstrate leadership skills.
