Amazon Fulfilment Technologies (AFT) is looking for an experienced engineer to join their team and contribute to reinventing Amazon's Fulfillment Inventory systems. The role requires a strong understanding of the entire software development and deployment lifecycle, with a focus on delivering complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Develop modern software, hardware, and processes for Amazon's global operations.
Build automated solutions for fulfillment centers.
Contribute to the mission of reinventing Amazon Fulfilment Inventory systems.
Ensure best-in-class selection for end customers.
Ensure highest standards of experience for vendors and sellers.
Impact the efficiency and effectiveness of Amazon's global fulfillment network.

Requirements

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-driven and able to deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Qualifications

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
