ABB is seeking a Service Sales Support Specialist in Seoul, South Korea, to support the Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process. This role involves preparing technical descriptions, determining costs, and performing lost proposal analysis. The position requires at least 8 years of experience in sales support, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. Business-level English and native Korean fluency are also required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Sales organization and customers in preparing technical descriptions of applied products and technology.
Determine costs and prepare final documentation.
Serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area.
Perform lost proposal analysis, identify potential causes, and recommend future actions.
Support the local Sales organization and customers in determining technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
Prepare/support the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specifications, business indications, and Sales organization directives.
Analyze customer needs and competitor offers using market information and Sales organization input.
Define costs for proposed solutions and communicate them to the Sales organization.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of experience in Sales Support
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with proposal management, cost estimation, and tendering tools
Proven experience in cost estimation, preferably within automation systems
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail
High level of accuracy in numerical analysis
Business-level proficiency in English (verbal and written)
Native-level Korean fluency

Desired Qualifications

Experience with automation systems such as DCS, PLC, or related control systems is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering is preferred
