Responsibilities

Define infrastructure strategies, target architectures and roadmaps
Design, improve and modernize infrastructure solutions for the vehicle software landscape
Drive lifecycle management, migrations, upgrades and technical debt reduction
Ensure infrastructure delivers high availability, security, scalability and operational excellence
Collaborate with suppliers and service providers to secure quality service delivery
Partner with architects, product teams and business stakeholders to align technology with business needs
Drive automation, standardization and continuous improvement initiatives
Act as a technical leader, mentor and trusted expert within your domain

Requirements

Extensive experience in infrastructure engineering, platform operations or infrastructure services
Deep expertise in one or more infrastructure domains combined with broad technical understanding
Experience designing, operating and modernizing business-critical infrastructure environments
Strong knowledge of reliability, security, compliance and lifecycle management
Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and roadmaps
Experience working with external suppliers and service providers
Strong stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills
Professional proficiency in English

Desired Qualifications

Experience supporting engineering or manufacturing environments
Knowledge of hybrid, cloud and on-premise infrastructure
Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code and observability
Experience in service portfolio management or service ownership
Knowledge of vehicle software or automotive IT environments
Experience from large global organizations
