Ericsson On-Demand is seeking a Core Network SaaS Developer to help shape the future of telecommunications by building and deploying scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native network services. This role involves end-to-end development, CI/CD automation, and operational excellence in a DevSecOps environment, leveraging technologies like Go, C++, Kubernetes, and major public clouds.

Responsibilities

Develop services across the full lifecycle, from optimized Go and C/C++ code to automated testing and deployment.
Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly reliable applications and services.
Build and improve cloud-native CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery from commit to production.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure reliability, availability, and performance.
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and share knowledge across the organization.
Work in a Lean, Agile, and DevSecOps environment to deliver customer value.

Requirements

Strong understanding of 4G/5G Core Network architecture, particularly Packet Core (SMF/AMF/UPF).
Hands-on PCC/ PCG implementation and design, with an emphasis on PC-MM/PC-SM/UP development.
5+ years of experience across multiple domains (JS6).
10+ years of experience, including multiple technical leadership roles (JS7).
Strong programming skills in Go and C/C++.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
Experience driving system and feature studies, with end-to-end traceability from requirements through implementation, testing, and documentation.
Strong practical experience with cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices.
Experience with major public clouds such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Understanding of core network architecture, including NFV and SDN.
Strong knowledge of network security principles and practices.
Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD tooling.
A collaborative, customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a passion for continuous learning.
