Responsibilities

  • Provide quotations to sales force and customers.
  • Prioritize and coordinate repair and reconditioning projects.
  • Manage and administer each repair order.
  • Continually seek ways to improve repair processes and techniques.
  • Contact customers to discuss and quote repairs.
  • Follow up discussions after repairs.
  • Assist in order entry and invoicing.
  • Maintain production schedules and assist with production meetings.
  • Manage and coordinate standard outsource processes.
  • Research customer equipment in proprietary systems.
  • Utilize BPCS, Jeeves, Installed Base, SALLY, CAS, OPTO, MRP, and Lotus Notes systems.
  • Create and assure job packets have applicable documentation.
  • Review shop quotes.
  • Interact and communicate repair information to shop, customers, and sales personnel.
  • Assist Service Center team to meet KPIs.
  • Manage job costs and assure margins and recovery are in line.
  • Drive 5S projects, investment requests, and process improvements.
  • Maintain applicable inventory reports, records, and proprietary software.
  • Coordinate and assist with ACT warranty claims.
  • Participate in meetings and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School or GED.
  • Minimum five years hands-on experience with repairing/reconditioning in manufacturing, job shop or customer service environment desirable.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and respectful interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform effectively within a team environment.
  • Some understanding of machining and welding techniques.
  • Ability to work within stressful situations (Resilience).
  • Fundamental knowledge of standard word processing software and spreadsheets.
