Responsibilities
- Interact with customers, NI staff, external partners, and suppliers to design, implement, and sustain custom test solutions.
- Perform high-level collaborative design of integrated solutions.
- Ensure adherence to development processes and standard methodologies.
- Develop reusable software for multiple projects.
- Review work quality and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to find efficient technical solutions.
- Be responsible for technical deliverables for assigned projects.
- Guide the introduction of new systems and workflows to enable the customer's desired future state.
- Provide training, mentoring, and talent growth in ADAS, VSE, EV Power Conversion, and Electronics.
- Lead customer technical onsite tasks and advance opportunities.
Requirements
- BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in SW Development, system integration, and/or test and measurements industry.
- Demonstrated ability to use one or more programming languages (LabVIEW, C#, C++, Python, etc.) in software design and implementation.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and experience working directly with customers, engineers, and business partners.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing, and ambitious environment.
- Effective problem-solving skills - diagnose technical issues and propose solutions.
- Proactive, self-starter, and ability to work independently.
- Persistence in driving tasks and leading projects to successful completion.
- Ability to quickly learn applicable technology, systems, and products.
- Familiarity with NI products and platforms.
- Availability to travel 25% of the time.
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of Automotive communication networks and protocols.
- Good knowledge of ADAS ECUs and sensors like camera, RADAR, LiDAR, Ultrasonic, etc.
- Experience with industry best practices for designing to meet standards, safety, and certification for high-power panel design.
- Experience in LabVIEW, TestStand, VeriStand, LabVIEW RT/FPGA, and PXI/cRIO platforms, as well as text-based languages like C/C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
