Vattenfall is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Strategic Projects & AI Transformation for a 24-month temporary position. This role involves leading complex strategic initiatives, leveraging AI for business improvements, and collaborating with senior management in the Business Area Wind. The position is based in Amsterdam, Berlin, or Hamburg.

Responsibilities

Learn about business challenges and identify improvement opportunities.
Contribute to setting the overall strategic direction of BU Offshore.
Scope, align, and lead strategic initiatives and improvement projects.
Support the development and mentoring of (Associate) Strategy Advisors.
Show effective leadership in project teams.

Requirements

Advanced university degree in business, economics, engineering, or related field.
At least five years of relevant professional experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or transformation.
Demonstrated ability to identify and shape value-creating applications of AI.
Experience working in complex organizations and understanding decision-making processes.
Strong track record of structuring complex business problems and conducting analysis.
Experience in independently scoping and leading cross-functional projects.
Confidence in engaging senior stakeholders, facilitating alignment, and communicating complex topics.

Desired Qualifications

Exposure to the energy sector, utilities, or offshore wind is an advantage.
Passionate about creating a sustainable energy landscape.
Structured, pro-active, motivated, and comfortable with ambiguity.
End-to-end mindset, seeing the big picture while managing details.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Cooperative team player and excellent communicator in an international environment.
