Responsibilities
- Provide Accounts Receivable transaction processing support.
- Ensure daily operations are managed and delivered timely to the Location within SLAs.
- Monitor the full AR cycle from invoice processing to cash allocation to meet KPIs.
- Manage task and process migration of AR function to Shared Services Centre in Malaysia.
- Ensure all open/overdue items are attended to and resolved promptly.
- Attend to location queries and requests, escalating complex issues.
- Involve and support line manager on internal and external audit requests.
- Collaborate with other streams and functional support teams for integrated process efficiency.
- Perform month-end processes and prepare month-end reports.
- Uphold and execute controls with complete understanding and effectiveness.
- Act as a backup and perform other AR tasks as required.
- Support new and existing team members through knowledge transfer and training.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with locations and cross streams.
- Engage stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements, simplifications, and standardization.
- Review workflow and procedures to close service gaps and ensure productivity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date DTPs and reference materials.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments/projects as requested.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of working experience in Accounts Receivable or any other accounting function, preferably from a Shared Services.
- Experience in a Shared Services environment is an added advantage.
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English & Vietnamese & with good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications: Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business Administration.
- Passion for innovation, customer obsession, drive for results, communicative, team-oriented, analytical thinking, patience, attention to detail, organization, training skills, confidentiality, problem-solving skills, taking ownership and responsibility.
- Transition experience and/or ERP implementation experience as an added advantage.
- Experience of working in a/within a multicultural, international environment.
- Available to travel / full time oriented.
