We are looking for an experienced IT Asset Management professional with approximately 6 years of experience to manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to retirement. The role involves maintaining accurate asset records, ensuring policy compliance, and collaborating with various internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement coordination, receiving, tagging, allocation, deployment, transfer, refresh, recovery, and secure disposal.
Maintain accurate hardware and software asset records within the ITAM repository/CMDB, ensuring asset ownership, location, status, configuration, and lifecycle information remain current.
Perform periodic physical and system-based asset reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Coordinate device refresh, return, recovery, and disposal activities.
Support asset audits and compliance reviews.
Monitor asset utilization and identify unused, aging, or non-compliant assets.
Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Service Desk, Desktop/Endpoint teams, Security, and third-party vendors.
Support hardware warranty, repair, replacement, and vendor coordination.
Develop and maintain asset management dashboards, reports, KPIs, and operational metrics.
Ensure proper handling of assets during retirement and disposal.
Identify opportunities to standardize and automate asset management processes.
Support continuous improvement of ITAM policies, procedures, SOPs, controls, and governance processes.

Requirements

Approximately 6 years of experience in IT Asset Management.
Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and the complete device/asset lifecycle.
Hands-on knowledge of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and inventory management processes.
Experience working with ServiceNow ITAM/HAM/CMDB, Flexera, or comparable enterprise asset management solutions.
Working knowledge of endpoint/device management technologies such as Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager (SCCM), or equivalent platforms.
Understanding of CMDB, Configuration Management, Incident Management, Request Management, and Change Management processes.
Experience with asset reconciliation, stock management, device refresh, warranty management, asset recovery, and disposal.
Strong reporting and analytical skills using Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, lookups, and data reconciliation.
Familiarity with ITIL practices and IT service management processes.
Knowledge of IT asset audit, governance, risk, and compliance controls.
Ability to analyze inventory data and identify discrepancies, aging assets, and opportunities for asset optimization.
