Alstom seeks a full-time SAP Analytics - BW Technical Specialist in Bangalore to provide business-driven, end-to-end solutions using SAP BW on HANA expertise. The role involves designing technical architecture, leading complex implementations, and animating BI and Data Analytics governance, collaborating with various internal teams and external providers.

Responsibilities

Provide business-driven, end-to-end solutions that meet customer needs and enable insights from enterprise data.
Develop strategies, implement solutions, and ensure a stable and scalable SAP Analytics platform.
Design technical architecture and lead complex implementations.
Animate and reinforce BI and Data Analytics governance.
Establish development standards, guidelines, and best practices for data modeling and compliance.
Develop and maintain data modeling and data management architecture strategies.
Provide data solution designs for complex initiatives and conduct feasibility studies.
Collaborate with internal teams and third-party technology providers to scope and deliver use cases in Service and Project Modes.
Develop functional and technical design documents to bridge SAP functional modules and analytical systems.
Monitor and track project progress to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.

Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
8-10 years of experience with SAP BW on HANA.
At least 6+ years of hands-on experience in BW on HANA 7.5 modeling.
Strong knowledge of Info Provider Administration, Process Chain Administration, BW Trace Tool, and LSA++ architecture.
Experience with hybrid modeling scenarios, data acquisition, SDI (Smart Data Integration), and SDA.
Expertise in SAP ECC extractors, including builds and enhancements using BADI and ABAP (AMDP knowledge is a plus).
Techno-functional knowledge in one or more functional areas, such as Sales, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, or Engineering.
Strong collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
A proactive mindset with leadership capabilities and the ability to influence and deliver results.

SAP Certification on SAP BW on HANA 7.5
Experience with SAP Business Objects 4.3
Exposure to SOLMAN 7.2 charm
