Responsibilities
- Establish a single source of truth for quality, including KPIs and Power BI reporting for service provider performance.
- Benchmark performance across the network to identify best practices and create improvement plans.
- Define clear standards for handling, exceptions, returns, and deviations, including escalation paths.
- Develop training materials and build competence in quality management for business teams and service providers.
- Secure appropriate handling materials at optimal cost and quality.
- Represent IKEA as a trusted business partner towards service providers.
- Undertake other assigned projects within the category.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of logistics operations, warehousing, and distribution, with an understanding of handling processes and damage origins.
- Deep understanding of quality management in an outsourced environment, measuring performance factually and driving improvement through partners.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, including building Power BI reports and challenging data quality.
- Proven ability to design and implement usable KPIs, working methods, and standard operating procedures.
- Experience developing training material and building competence across diverse audiences and cultures.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority.
- Self-driven, curious, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities and driving change.
- University degree in a relevant field (logistics, engineering, economics, or business).
- Fluent in English.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience, including influence beyond your own unit.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with IKEA Supply Chain is a plus.
- Experience leading cross-functional, cross-cultural initiatives is a plus.
