Responsibilities
- Interface with R&D teams globally to identify and develop patentable inventions in antenna technology.
- Manage your own patent docket with accuracy and precision.
- Conduct claim charting and technical analysis.
- Handle invention disclosures and contribute to portfolio strategy.
- Support in-house patent drafting and prosecution activities.
- Act as a bridge between patent attorneys and R&D teams on technical matters.
- Stay up to date with developments in European and international patent law, telecom standards and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate across legal, technical and business functions in an international, cross-functional team.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of antenna technology (or closely related electromagnetic technologies) — either through professional experience, research background, or technical expertise.
- A Master's degree in engineering, physics, computer science or related field.
- Either (partial) qualification as a European or German Patent Attorney OR strong hands-on technical experience with genuine interest in patents and motivation to develop IPR expertise.
- Solid understanding of telecommunication technologies.
- Strong coordination and communication skills, a keen eye for detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
- Substantial on-site availability at our Rosenheim location.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in patent portfolio management.
- Hands-on patent drafting and prosecution experience.
- Knowledge of other telecommunication areas.
- Familiarity with AI-based drafting tools and modern IP workflows.
- Openness to continuous learning and developing toward full patent attorney responsibilities.
