Responsibilities
- Prepare, install, diagnose, troubleshoot, replace, and decommission IT datacenter equipment.
- Comply with Data Center policies, procedures, and deadlines.
- Review Process Change Notifications (PCNs) and understand impacts on work execution.
- Complete assigned tickets efficiently and in alignment with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Acquire a fundamental understanding of cabling, network, server, and storage equipment.
- Escort third-party vendors or IT support on-premises.
- Participate in daily safety briefings and comply with Environmental & Health Safety (EHS) procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and effective team environment by sharing information and partnering with other teams.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and basic knowledge of computer hardware and components OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check required upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States that does not require employer sponsorship.
- 2+ year(s) experience supporting IT equipment or related technology OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically.
