Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of production systems and working methods, influencing design for low production costs.
- Develop new technical solutions and efficient production systems based on Lean principles.
- Deploy advanced tooling options where effectively leveraged.
- Ensure accurate and timely tooling resources, supported by maintenance and calibration processes.
- Drive continuous improvement for tooling resources and processes.
- Work collaboratively with Swedish tooling resources.
- Contribute to a people-first culture aligned with Saab values.
- Able to work extended schedule when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years relevant tooling experience or Aerostructures experience preferred.
- Driven, innovative and takes initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to travel internationally.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident, or protected individual.
Desired Qualifications
- Catia, SolidWorks, or similar modeling skills desirable.
