Responsibilities
- Optimize the Industrial Technique Service Supply Chain with a focus on availability and end-to-end operational efficiency.
- Understand customer needs in the design of the Supply Chain that supports business models.
- Challenge current setups and develop the Global Supply Chain for spare parts.
- Propose and implement global inventory projects.
- Ensure supply chain excellence in local Tool Management Centers.
- Maintain close contact with Customer Centers worldwide through logistic review meetings or visits.
- Act as the global expert in inventory management systems, supporting local supply chain development.
- Develop and implement Inventory management systems (Global Inventory Management) for sustainable availability and correct inventory levels.
- Continuously seek operational efficiency and service improvements in the Supply Chain.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in business engineering or applied economics.
- Firm understanding in Supply Chain and Logistics.
- Good MS office skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and insight in SAP is considered a plus.
- Other languages are considered a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and the capacity to put these to work in an everyday working environment.
- Good social skills combined with a down-to-earth attitude allowing you to build a strong network.
- Result driven, resilient, and able to cope with pressure.
- Team player but also an effective self-starter who can perform autonomously and remote.
- Broad technical interest added to a healthy business understanding and a creative approach.
- Willingness to undertake business travel.
