Responsibilities

  • Optimize the Industrial Technique Service Supply Chain with a focus on availability and end-to-end operational efficiency.
  • Understand customer needs in the design of the Supply Chain that supports business models.
  • Challenge current setups and develop the Global Supply Chain for spare parts.
  • Propose and implement global inventory projects.
  • Ensure supply chain excellence in local Tool Management Centers.
  • Maintain close contact with Customer Centers worldwide through logistic review meetings or visits.
  • Act as the global expert in inventory management systems, supporting local supply chain development.
  • Develop and implement Inventory management systems (Global Inventory Management) for sustainable availability and correct inventory levels.
  • Continuously seek operational efficiency and service improvements in the Supply Chain.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in business engineering or applied economics.
  • Firm understanding in Supply Chain and Logistics.
  • Good MS office skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and insight in SAP is considered a plus.
  • Other languages are considered a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and the capacity to put these to work in an everyday working environment.
  • Good social skills combined with a down-to-earth attitude allowing you to build a strong network.
  • Result driven, resilient, and able to cope with pressure.
  • Team player but also an effective self-starter who can perform autonomously and remote.
  • Broad technical interest added to a healthy business understanding and a creative approach.
  • Willingness to undertake business travel.
